Medicinal garden is a natural repository of medicinal plants which signifies a rich heritage of traditional knowledge and plant diversity. A medicinal plant contains substances that can be used for therapeutic purposes. The objective of establishing a Medicinal garden at Thanal is for the purpose of education to expose our students to common and rare medicinal plant species with comprehensive knowledge of identification and research. Botanical gardens and medicinal plant gardens are also actively involved in the conservation of the plants as well as traditional knowledge.
